  Our treatment by Professor Ali Ghoz was exemplary. He engaged with us throughout the process in a very patient, open and exacting way. He took time to explain all the details to us and to ready us for each next stage of the recovery process, alongside our physiotherapist. He took on all our questions, and the additional requests from the insurance company, lightly and reassuringly, making it a pleasurable experience for my son and for us. I would recommend him very highly for any child with lower limb injuries. We are delighted and grateful.

  Professor Ghoz attended to what was ultimately a benign cyst in my left knee, and during the diagnostic process identified severe tendonitis which he treated with steroid injections. The treatment was incredibly effective, I didn't know my knee could feel like this again! He was straightforward, receptive to my concerns, provided detailed information to any questions. His admin Nancy and her team were also very flexible, understanding, and easy to work with throughout the process of scheduling several appointments and tests.

  I wholeheartedly recommend Professor Ali Ghoz as an exceptionally talented surgeon and a truly wonderful person.

Professor Ghoz performed my total knee replacement. The original plan was for the operations on my hand — for carpal tunnel syndrome and a problem with my thumb — to be carried out separately a few weeks later. However, due to a misunderstanding during the booking process, all three procedures were scheduled for the same day.

When Professor Ghoz discovered this shortly before the surgery, he remained completely calm and did not postpone my treatment. He assessed the situation quickly and confidently, made the necessary decision, and successfully performed all three procedures during the same operation. For me, this demonstrated his exceptional professionalism, extensive experience, and ability to make sound decisions even in unexpected circumstances.

Today, some time after my surgery, I can say with complete confidence that the outcome has transformed my quality of life. I am active again, I walk a great deal, I have lost weight, and I feel genuinely happy. At our most recent appointment, Professor Ghoz was sincerely delighted to see how well I had recovered. He told me that he could see my smile and that I was happy, and that this was very important to him. Those words say so much about him — not only as an outstanding surgeon, but also as a caring and compassionate doctor.

Professor Ghoz is always positive, kind and attentive, with a wonderful sense of humour. In his presence, you feel calm, reassured and confident. His entire team also deserves special recognition. His PAs and administrative staff are highly organised, responsive and professional — everything runs like clockwork.

If your treatment is in the hands of Professor Ali Ghoz, you can feel confident that you are being cared for by an exceptional professional who will do everything possible to achieve the best outcome. I will always be deeply grateful to him for his extraordinary skill, his kindness and care, and for giving me the opportunity to live a full and active life again.

  I had a serious leg injury and my fracture didn't heal (initial operation was done in different clinic). Professor Ghoz operated and completed required procedure. He was always supportive, explained the process in details and answered all my concerns. Recommended nessesary equipment to speed up the healing process. His admin team also communicates effectively in a timely manner. I definitely recommend him and his team.

  Very impressed with Professor Ghoz. His advise, recommendation and treatment have greatly improved my right knee and has lead to a significant reduction in pain and discomfort

  I found Prof. Ghoz after my skiing accident, to help decide whether to repair my ACL. He was fantastic throughout the whole process, explaining my options and providing advice as needed. He performed a successful hamstring graft surgery a year ago and I've had a full recovery and minimal scarring. Really pleased with the outcome given how intense the whole process can be.   I suffered a very serious knee injury that required complex surgery. Professor Ghoz was exceptional throughout the entire process. From the initial consultation to the surgery itself, and now five months into recovery, the care and professionalism have been outstanding.

Thanks to Professor Ghoz and his team, my knee feels amazing and my recovery is ahead of schedule. Their expertise, support, and attention to detail made a difficult experience much easier.

Late Last year my prosthetic knee dislocated and chipped my Femur. I was admitted to hospital as an emergency and was told that I required an operation to correct the problem otherwise I would probably not walk again. The operation that was required was complicated and involved major reconstruction of the existing prosthetic knee thus saving the leg from amputation. I understand this was a ground breaking operation for Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon and was performed by Mr Ali Ghoz of the orthopaedic Department. I am now well and truly recovering.

I recently had an Anterior Hip Replacement performed by Professor Ghoz. The pre and post operative ssurance, care and treatment by Professor Ghoz was so professional. The operation was really successful,only 2 nights in hospital, hardly any post operative pain and I was able to walkaround the house without crutches or sticks after just 5 days After only 5 weeks it was possible to resume normal activities including longer walks and golf. My mum has been meaning to do this every day but she has finally asked me to write to you to convey her thanks. Our situation was far from ideal when we first met and from the first appointment to the last (so far) things have been mabaged with great care and professionalism.

There is still a way to go in her recovery but the fact that she is currently on a cruise in South American speaks very well of hos tings have gone. This is beyond expectations to say the least.

I’d like to offer my sincere thanks and gratitude from myself and all the family as well as from my mum for your kindness and reassurance and of course, your expertise in puttin gher back together.

My name is Ian Hook & I consider myself very fortunate to still be alive. To try to fix an
ongoing problem with my right leg, I decided to go private & self-pay for a further
consultation, involving an MRI scan which I felt was necessay. I got a next day appointment
on Thursday, March 7, with Professor Ali Ghoz &, while in his office, I was violently sick
which led to Professor Ghoz admitting me to Intensive Care where it was discovered that my
kidneys & diabetes were out of control & I nearly died. If I had been anywhere else, it’s scary
to think what might have happened!
I spent a bit over a week in your hospital & the care & help I received was something to
savour. EVERYBODY I came into contact with, from senior doctors to nursing staff to
catering & pharmacy staff to the maintenance guys & my dietary & diabetes advisors, were
fabulous & I shall forever be in their debt. I could name people here but prefer to lump
everyone in together as they all played their parts in getting me back from a very dire
situation.
I would very much appreciate it if you can please pass on my eternal thanks to every
department in your wonderful hospital.
